Welcome Vocal Arts!
Students sing popular tunes as well... Go Erik!
Former Student Erik DeMario... One of many performances he has been in since: Danilo, "Merry Widow."
From time to time, it's nice to hear what one is doing in a lesson. Recording a song or two can reveal ways to perfect our craft even more effectively than me mentioning ideas. Will be fun to hear a later lesson or two from Sam. He is quite gifted. ( I often regret not showing the wonderful things that happen over time.) Stay tuned to hear Sam and other ongoing work.
"Maria" from "West Side Story" by Leonard Bernstein.
Check out "You Were Meant for Me" (song by Jewel) video... Recorded informally at home by former voice student, Grace Gilmore. You too, can post your videos. Can't wait for more.
In addition to regular singing lessons, students make up scenes to connect their song phrases with script. Great tool for freeing up.
Eva loves theater... Some of the best students are those who take lessons just for the joy of learning how to sing with commitment and energy. Go Eva!
Daniela Cardarelli when in high school starred as lead in a few musicals, is now teaching kids the same, also voice lessons and is being featured in NYC cabaret venues. You are a great role model.
A former voice student created an original lullaby.
